Our group chose Yuhan-Kimberly as our group team project theme because this group has compelling features that we had learned in the last class so we decided to analyze this company on the view that we studied.
Yuhan-kimberly was founded as a joint venture with american company Kimberly-Clark and Yuhan Yanghaeng in the rate of 6:4 but later Kimberly Clark bought 10% share of company for Yuhan`s. This company was made by the need of Kimberly Clark because Korea escaped ruins of war and showed marvelous economic growth in the¡¦(»ý·«)

cy business so they already dominated korean distribution system ,that is, they could save early fixed cost. Third, The founder of Yuhan company was a national hero because of his patriotic career in the Japanese colonial time so Kimberly-Clark had no need to propaganda their brand image.
Its anticipation was 100% correct. After launched its subsidiary, Yuhan-Kimberly have dominated korean basic supply market over 40years. Now, Yuhan-Kimberly have grown one of the biggest cash cow company in Korea.
